Een eigen creatie dat is ontstaan dankzij de hittegolf, de steeds duurder wordende boodschappen (koken met restjes dus!) en uiteraard omdat ik graag iets eet dat voedzaam en gezond is. Tegen al mijn verwachtingen in is deze salade ook erg geliefd door mr. husbie, waardoor deze salade tijdens de zomer wekelijks (meermaals) op tafel stond. Ideaal om restjes groenten in te verwerken, maar vooral omdat het simpel, lekker en snel klaar te maken is. Een aanradertje! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:54px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lust jij rauwe broccoli?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:68px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Deze salade is ge\u00efnspireerd op mijn schoonmama van Amerika. Een paar jaar geleden gingen we eens op bezoek bij meme (de grootmoeder van mijn man) en daar had mijn Amerikaanse schoonmama gekookt met onder andere een rauwe broccolisalade. <strong><em>Say whut?! <\/em><\/strong>&#8220;Rauwe broccoli? Niet gekookt of geroosterd ofwa?&#8221; Wij hadden nog nooit rauwe broccoli gegeten en het klonk zo droog, taai en onsmakelijk om te zitten knabbelen op een rauw broccoliroosje, maar langs de andere kant eten we wel graag rauwe bloemkoolroosjes als aperitiefhapje? Dus dit was zeker het proberen waard! 1 hap en mijn man en ik keken elkaar in de ogen en zeiden: <strong><em>&#8220;Oh my God! This is delicious! Wow!&#8221;<\/em><\/strong><br>De samenstelling van de salade, de hemelse dressing, maar vooral de crunchy fijne broccoliroosjes maken het geheel af. Je kan er eindeloos mee vari\u00ebren bijvoorbeeld met andere fruitsoorten (druiven, granaatappel, mango,&#8230;), andere groenten (komkommer, wortel, tomaat, radijsjes,&#8230;), andere noten (pecannoten, walnoten, amandelen,&#8230;), rozijnen in plaats van veenbessen (mijn man HAAT rozijnen, dus vandaar de gedroogde veenbesjes) \ud83d\ude09 en uiteraard kan je ook naar hartenlust verse kruiden toevoegen zoals peterselie, munt, basilicum, bieslook,&#8230; De afwerking bepaal je helemaal zelf, maar voor deze salade is het toch belangrijk om twee dingen zeker te behouden: de<strong> RAUWE<\/strong> broccoli en de <strong>DRESSING.<\/strong><br>Lust je geen rauwe broccoli? Dan kan je de roosjes ook besprenkelen met wat olijfolie en een kwartiertje roosteren in een voorverwarmde oven van 180\u00b0C. Je kan en mag zoveel vari\u00ebren met ingredi\u00ebnten als je wil, maar de rauwe broccoliroosjes en de dressing behoud je beter voor de lekkere smaak. De dressing was even zoeken en experimenteren, maar ik heb uiteindelijk een superlekkere mix ontwikkelt. Optioneel en dus totaal niet verplicht, maar wel lekker en net dat tikkeltje extra&#8230; nl.  KAAS! In heel wat slaatjes vind je kaas om de salade net dat beetje extra smaak te geven en je slaatje naar een hoger niveau te tillen. Denk maar aan<em> mozzarella, parmezaan, kaasblokjes, burrata, feta, &#8230;<\/em><br>Ook deze salade is lekker met belegen kaasblokjes bij. Het hoeft niet, maar als je zo&#8217;n grote <strong><em>cheeselover <\/em><\/strong>bent zoals mijn man, dan kan kaas deze salade n\u00f3g lekkerder maken. Ik maakte deze zomer de salade zonder, maar onlangs kreeg ik de Brugge salade strips om te proeven. Deze belegen strips zijn speciaal ontworpen om je salade mee te dresseren en net dat tikkeltje extra smaak te geven. Try it! <br>Sindsdien wil mijn man WEL elke keer kaas in deze broccolisalade, maar hij vindt het ook lekker zonder, hoor! <strong><em>You do you! <\/em><\/strong><br><br>Meer info over deze Brugge
